Camp Grid Iron, a strength and conditioning camp at Playitas Resort on the Canary Island of Fuerteventura. Your coaches will be on hand 24/7 to help you get the most out of the experience as you train in the sun at one of the largest training centres in Europe. With everything else taken care of all you need to worry about is giving 100%.

What you can expect
Camp Grid Iron is your one stop shop for strength and conditioning.  With the coaches working to challenge you both physically and mentally, you’ll come away feeling you’ve trained harder and achieved more than you ever knew you were capable of.
The training schedule includes gym workouts, WODs, knowledge sessions, an epic obstacle course and various other types of functional training to help take you to your limits.  Each camp is bespoke and will be fine tuned to meet your needs and expectations.
You’ll be training in the gym and functional box at Playitas Resort as well as making the most of the island’s amazing weather at a variety of outdoor venues including the beach and an athletics stadium.

You don’t need to be super fit
The camp welcomes people at all stages of their fitness journey, you train as part of a team but will be working towards your own goals. The only person you will be competing with is yourself.
Coaches Brett and Carl will assess where you are with your training and work to help you improve and train to your full potential using the techniques that work best for you.  No matter who you are you’ll get to test your limits and see what you are truly capable of.

Camp Grid Iron Coaches
The camp is hosted by Team BK Fit and run by Brett Hoare and Carl Fletcher.  They are both fortunate enough to call Fuerteventura their home, they know the island well and enjoy a great working relationship with Playitas Resort.
Brett and Carl, are on-site 24/7. They’ll be living the camp experience with you and will always be available; for one to one sessions, to give advice or to chat about anything else you might have on your mind.

Brett has a wide range of experience in the fitness sector and has taught internationally as well as recently exploring online coaching opportunities. He holds a level 3/4 coaching qualification and worked as an instructor for Playitas Resort before starting Team BK Fit. Since then he has been working with his own clients and instructed across the Canary Islands with Aerobic Weekends Sweden.

He went on to compete in athletics where he represented his country at shot put on a number of occasions.  Carl’s passion for strength/power sports also saw him competing in strongman at a national level and representing his country in powerlifting.
